    Jewelry donations needed! The Friends of The Abington Township Library are in need of jewelry donations for their yearly fundraising auction. Please drop off jewelry in good condition of all types at the front desk of the Abington Free Library.

We help adults, ages 18 and older, in the following areas:

  • Assist English language learners improve their English skills
  • Improvement with basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Preparation to take a high school equivalency or other tests 

The Friends are community members who work to keep Abington libraries strong by funding:

  • Library programs for children and adults
  • New books, movies, computers, and library furnishings
