    Grades K-2

    In celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we will be reading the book Up, Up, Ever Up!: Junko Tabei: A Life in the Mountains by Anita Yasuda.  

We help adults, ages 18 and older, in the following areas:

  • Assist English language learners improve their English skills
  • Improvement with basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Preparation to take a high school equivalency or other tests 

The Friends are community members who work to keep Abington libraries strong by funding:

  • Library programs for children and adults
  • New books, movies, computers, and library furnishings
