Children and Families
The Children’s Department at the Abington Free Library offers Take and Make crafts that provide children and their families with art-based explorations. Through these activities, children explore various art materials, techniques, and engaging topics.
Take and Makes are available downstairs in the Children’s Department and are made in limited quantities. Each Take and Make includes instructions and materials. They are geared toward preschoolers and elementary-aged children. Parents or guardians are encouraged to assist children with Take and Makes at home.
Simple crafts are always available at Roslyn Library suitable for ages three to eight and sometimes older. Take and Makes for all ages are offered seasonally.
