Ab-TAB

The Abington Teen Advisory Board (Ab-TAB) offers teens in grades 6-12 the opportunity to make a positive difference in the Library community.

Ab-TAB meets on the third Monday of each month from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. during the school year. Ab-TAB’s advisor is Young Adult Librarian Sara Huff.

Ab-TAB members:

  • Help plan library programs for teens, such as terrarium workshops and murder mystery parties
  • Brainstorm ways the library can better serve teens
  • Help promote library services
  • Suggest books and other items that can be added to the library’s collection
  • Make new friends!

The Ab-TAB is always open to new members. Stop by a meeting and see what it’s like! Ab-TAB members earn service hours for their time.
