A hands-on science program for families with children ages 3-10
Tuesday, April 25, 2017 6:30-7:15 p.m. Abington Free Library Community Room
Light is an important part of our daily lives, helping us see the world around us. But we don’t always think about how light interacts with objects. In this workshop children and families will play with light by shining light through objects, bouncing it off of shiny surfaces, and blocking it to create shadows.
Program and waiting list are full.
Our next family science program, “Design It, Build It,” will be held this summer. Details to come.
(215) 885-5180, ext. 28. Parents/caregivers will participate in this program along with their children.
This project is made possible by a grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services as administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education through the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.
