Philadelphia's Pier 53 Project Over one million immigrants arrived in Philadelphia from 1870 to 1915. Susan McAninley who coordinates the Pier 53 Project will tell the stories of some of these immigrants, their descendants, and Pier 53 through photos and audience participation.
